Mobl21 is aligned to federal grants to help schools obtain financial support for their mobile learning initiatives.
21st Century Community Learning Centers is a multi-year grant that supports the creation of learning centers which provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children.
The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
Federal funds are made available to develop the academic, vocational, and technical skills of secondary and postsecondary students who elect to enroll in these programs. Perkins IV provides states with support for state leadership activities, administration of the state plan, and subgrants to eligible recipients to improve vocational and technical education programs.
Title 1 funds are offered to provide additional academic support and learning opportunities to help low-achieving children, master challenging curricula and meet state standards in core academic subjects. The purpose of this title is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. Funds can be used to support extra instruction in reading and mathematics, as well as special preschool, after-school, and summer programs to extend and reinforce the regular school curriculum.
